Summer Camp

Rinehart Farm’s Summer Day Camp is the perfect opportunity for campers ages 6-12 to begin or advance their horseback riding skills. We combine a knowledgeable horse-oriented staff with experienced horses and excellent facilities to create a perfect atmosphere for summer fun and learning. Campers arrive at 9:00 AM and are to be picked up at 1:00 PM.

Campers have a group riding lesson and a horse science lesson in the morning, learning about topics such as parts of the horse and tack, colors, breeds, grooming, feeding, horse care, and basic first aid. After lunch, campers play games, participate in barn chores, do crafts, and more!

Our goals at Rinehart Farm’s Summer Day Damp are riding advancement, horse knowledge, safety, and fun. Come meet new friends, gain self confidence, learn more about horses, and make memories that will last a lifetime!

Campers are to bring the following items daily to camp: a sack lunch, a water bottle, a helmet (bike helmets are acceptable), long pants, sun screen, and boots (boots with a heel are recommended for riding). Shorts and gym shoes may be brought for the afternoons.

The cost of Summer Camp is $325 per week. A deposit of $150 is requested to hold a position for your camper (this fee will be subtracted from the total fee). Parents/guardians are urged to fill out the camper registration form at the time of signup or before the camper’s week of camp. It must be filled out no later than the first morning of your camper’s week. If you have any other questions or concerns please call 317-496-1638 or email us.
